Windsor walks are wonderful at any time of day, but our evening tours are a fun way to fill time between day events and evening meals. After a day of meetings, delegates can stretch their legs and build up an appetite before dining in one of Windsor’s many restaurants. Our evening walking tours generally start at 6.00pm and last around 1hr 30mins. After your tour you may want to enjoy dinner in a local eaterie. Here are some Windsor restaurants I am happy to reccomend.
Weekend Tours
For groups of family and friends, we can arrange a walking tour to your taste. Start when you like and finish when you want. We can extend our normal walking tour to take in a visit to Eton, or to one of Windsor’s other attractions such as trip along the Thames or a tour of our local Brewery.

Evening Walks
After dark, once the castle gates have been shut and the hordes have headed home, Windsor’s character changes. A hush descends over the old cobbled streets, the castle walls seem a little higher, the ancient stones appear darker and more brooding, and in the of stillness of dusk and calm quiet of the evening, history itself seems to whisper that little bit louder.

Starting in the early evening we invite you to walk in the footsteps of Kings and Queens, discover “Shakespeare’s little town house”, and enjoy some of the more unusual tales of bygone Windsor. After an hour or so exploring the streets, our guide will escort you to a great pub or one of the excellent restaurants in Windsor where you can enjoy the culture and hospitality of the town at your leisure.
